     Management as an academic discipline is continuously evolving. Changing business environment and economic realities necessitates that academia respond to these changes with new knowledge created through innovations and research. This grappling with the frontiers of knowledge cannot be achieved without nurturing excellent research capabilities. Since the enhancement of this Department the doctoral programme has been launched in the core disciplines of management, leading to a Ph.D. in management. Department views its doctoral programme as a big leap forward from just 'disseminating and imparting knowledge' to 'creation of knowledge'.


Objectives: .
 

The main objective of the programme is to prepare a cadre for academic positions, involving both research and teaching as well as for careers in business, government / regulatory bodies and non-government agencies.

Registration & Selection

Selection is based on Educational Qualifications, Work / Teaching Experience, Performance in Presentation and Interview with a panel of experts. As per the Rules and Regulations of University
